MARY'S OWN SLICE OF PARADISE
MARY'S OWN SLICE OF PARADISE
When Mary (and her late John) bought this property back in 2001 it was becasue it offered close proximity to the beach, major shopping and other amenties.
What they love about living here is being cool and shady in the summer, yet warm and sheltered on those sunny winter days. They enjoy the 'easy living' with lots of flow to the outside and room inside - be it in the kitchen, lounge or in the garage. John certainly loved his potting and hobby shed out the back and the ability to back his trailer right up the side of the house to unload plants and potting mix!
Mary will miss the privacy and delightful indoor/ outdoor flow this home affords together with the tranquil privacy - no traffic noise here! "We sometimes thought we had no neighbours!"
What they would have done differently says Mary - "We never did build that extra room in the attic area. We even drew up plans. You know there's so much headroom up there, its amazing. But we enjoyed living on one level so much we never got the extensions done!
Improvements we have made like most people are many and plenty. The extensive outside paving provides for low up keep and we created pergolas to maximise living outside in such a beautiful part of the bay.
What else have we discovered here? Well if someone has children, this property is in the Tahatai zone and there are no major roads to cross if walking or bike riding to school. It's a great spot for scenic walks. Access to the green fields and waterways is merely one property away. We use this access when walking to the beach or down to the Plaza, in fact there is almost endless routes that can be taken".
Thanks Mary for a great commentary on the enjoyment you've had whilst living here in Royal Palms. It really is a special place with some 16 ha of green fields and waterways running through the middle of Royal Palm Beach Estate, literally 'on your back doorstep!'
Ring Ron for your own private viewing or pop in on Sundays at 1.30 PM. The open home runs until 2.00 PM.
NOTES: 1) A height restriction of 5 (five) metres has been placed on the section next door
2) The red boundary lines in the photographs depicted the approximate boundaries when the entire property (made up of two titles) was all for sale.
The section alone has since been sold and it is the house now that is for sale.
